Thanksgiving: Harken Back to Days of Regular Posts
Am I ever lazy.
I also heap praise upon myself.
Now to combine both of those statements by linking to one of my favorite posts... or more accurately, a link that leads you to a post that links to an earlier post. ;)
I cannot stand the use of the phrase Turkey Day when someone means Thanksgiving. It doesn't keep me up at nights, but as I told my blogging friend Kermit it is at best a cutesy vocal abreviation, most likely a misunderstanding of the holiday, or at worst an intentional corruption of the real meaning behind Thanksgiving.
May the rest of your weekend bring you peace and rest as well as great memories of your recent Thanksgiving gathering. For now, I return to work and perhaps to brew up ideas for future posts.
